Frequently Asked
Questions
We understand that entrusting someone with an act of worship requires complete confidence. Here are honest, clear answers to the most common questions.
Badal Umrah — also known as Umrah by proxy — is the act of performing the Umrah pilgrimage on behalf of another Muslim who is genuinely unable to perform it themselves.
The word Badal (بدل) means "substitute" in Arabic. The performer makes the intention (niyyah) on behalf of the person being represented, and all the reward is dedicated to them.
It is most commonly performed for those who have passed away, the elderly, or those with a permanent illness that prevents travel.
Yes. Badal Umrah is permissible according to the majority of scholars, by analogy with Hajj Badal.
Our service is grounded in authentic Islamic scholarship. We consult scholars and follow the Quran and Sunnah in every aspect of how we operate.
- Deceased relatives — parents, grandparents, spouses, siblings. Unanimously permitted by scholars.
- Permanently ill — those with a chronic illness that prevents travel indefinitely.
- Very elderly — those who are physically unable to make the journey.
- Physically capable — Umrah cannot be performed on behalf of someone who is able to travel themselves.
Each Umrah can only be performed on behalf of one person. A separate Umrah must be arranged for each individual.
- The ritual itself takes on average 3–5 hours from the moment of Ihram until all rites are completed.
- Delivery time: Maximum 7 days from booking. Most orders are completed within 1–2 days.
The exact timing depends on your chosen package. The Barakah package includes flexible scheduling, and the Noor package is completed within 1–2 days.
Yes. When placing your order, you can include a specific duʿā or request for the performer to make on your loved one's behalf during the Umrah — particularly at the Kaaba and at Zamzam.
Our performers are practicing Muslims with knowledge of the Sunnah, and they will make sincere duʿā with the correct intention.
Proof varies by package. Here is what each includes:
The Dua Package includes photos & videos. The Noor Package adds a certificate. The Barakah Package adds full live coverage. The Ongoing Package includes certificate, photos and ongoing Sadaqah Jariyah.
We take authenticity extremely seriously. Here is how we ensure it:
- Every performer is personally interviewed and screened before being approved onto our platform.
- Photos and videos are timestamped and geotagged from the Haram.
- The Barakah package includes full live video coverage — you can watch in real time.
- You receive an official certificate with the performer's name and the name of the person on whose behalf the Umrah was performed.
Our performers are practicing Muslim men and women who live in or near Makkah. They include:
- Islamic Studies Students — studying at Islamic universities in Makkah & Madinah.
- Local Residents — trusted local Muslims with deep knowledge of Umrah rituals.
- Scholars & Huffaz — individuals who have memorised the Quran and studied fiqh.
Every performer is personally interviewed, screened for religious knowledge, and verified before being approved.
